Everything you need to know about frameless shower enclosures, commercial glass, hardware finishes, and working with Superior Glass & Mirror.

Shower Enclosures
The cost varies depending on the size, glass thickness, hardware finish, and enclosure configuration. Every job is custom-measured and quoted. We offer free estimates with no obligation — call us at 229-883-7707 or submit a request online and we'll get back to you quickly.
Frameless enclosures use thicker glass (typically 3/8" or 1/2") with minimal hardware — no full metal frame around the panels. The result is a clean, open look that shows off your tile work. Semi-frameless has framing on some edges but not all. Framed enclosures have aluminum framing around the entire perimeter and use thinner glass. Frameless is the most popular choice for custom renovations and the primary option we install.
We offer three standard finishes: chrome, matte black, and brushed gold (champagne bronze). All three are represented in our project gallery — check them out to see how each looks in a finished bathroom. Other finishes may be available depending on the hardware manufacturer.
A typical frameless shower enclosure installation takes about half a day. We start with a measuring visit, fabricate the glass to your exact specifications, then schedule installation once it's ready. From approved quote to installation is usually one to two weeks for residential work.
A squeegee after each use is the single best thing you can do — it prevents water spots and soap buildup before they set. For cleaning, use a non-abrasive glass cleaner (avoid ammonia on coated glass). Hard water deposits respond well to a diluted white vinegar solution. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the surface.
Estimates & Process
Yes — all estimates are completely free with no obligation, for both residential and commercial projects. Call us at 229-883-7707 or submit a request through our website and we'll follow up promptly.

We ask that someone be present for the measuring visit to confirm the scope and discuss any preferences. For the installation itself, arrangements can often be made if you can't be home — we'll discuss this when we schedule your appointment.
